#1381 Beetle Sterling Trophy Buckle, 1.5"

#1381 Beetle Trophy Buckle in Sterling. Beetles were looked at as a symbol in ancient Egyptian times.  With this buckle, the Beetle makes it's first appearance in my collection of iconic symbols, following a long time fascination for some of the giant varieties I've seen in books and museums.

This one sits length wise on a rectangular trophy style base with raised, polished edges. This contrasts with the carved Beetle with detailed legs and carapace. My signature Skull swing back bar on reverse side. Approximate dimensions 2" X 3 1/2"

Made to fit 1.5" width strap.
